Dear Colleagues,
Following the success of the WOC 2008, which had attracted over 13,000 delegates from all over the world, it is our honor and pleasure to announce that the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK-DOVS) is organizing the 8th International Symposium of Ophthalmology – Hong Kong (ISO-HK) on December 14 – 16, 2012 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This year, the 8th ISO-HK is held in conjunction with the 7th Asia-Pacific Vitreo-Retina Society (APVRS) Congress, the Inaugural Congresses of the Asia-Pacific Strabismus and Paediatric Ophthalmology Society (APSPOS) and the Asia-Pacific Society of Ocular Oncology and Pathology (APSOOP), the 10th Asia-Pacific Society of Eye Genetics (APSEG) Symposium, as well as the 24th Annual Scientific Meeting Hong Kong Ophthalmological Symposium, which is jointly organized by the College of Ophthalmologists of Hong Kong (COHK) and the Hong Kong Ophthalmological Society (HKOS). It is anticipated that the 8th ISO-HK will attract over 800 delegates with around 100 internationally-renowned speakers from all over the world. The 8th ISO-HK would be a good occasion for delegates to keep abreast of the latest development in ophthalmology and visual sciences.
Set against the backdrop of Asia’s world city, the 8th ISO-HK will offer its attendees a unique and rewarding experience of fulfilling intellectual exchanges, as well as deep relaxation. Famous for its magnificent skyline and renowned as the culinary capital of Asia, Hong Kong is a place that never fails to impress you with its close proximity with stunning cityscapes, soaring mountains, heritage sites and extensive greenery. We cordially invite you to join us in Hong Kong.
With warmest personal regards,
